GABE BOWLING (Carl Perkins) was a member of the Chicago cast of MDQ from 2008-2012 and is thrilled to be dusting off his Blue Suede Shoes! In his time off from MDQ, Theater credits include: "Otis" in the world premiere of Because of Winn-Dixie, composed by Duncan Sheik and directed by John Tartaglia, "Gregorio" in Off Broadway's My Big Gay Italian Wedding, "Hugh Hanson" (Christian Grey) in the North American tour of SPANK! The 50 Shades Parody, "Jackson" in Pump Boys and Dinettes, and "Joe Mauldin" in Ogunquit Playhouse's production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. TV/Film credits: One Small Hitch, The Rosie Show. COLTE JULIAN (Jerry Lee Lewis). Dream Role! NYC: On the Town; Chicago: MDQ, Next to Normal; Regional: Oklahoma!, Carousel, Rent, and Fiddler. Music Director for State and National FFA Organizations. Education: BA in Music from Oklahoma State, MM in Musical Theatre from Arizona State. An inconceivable amount of love and thanks to Mom, Dad, Erika, Milo and Rosie as well as the best bunch of friends this small town Oklahoma boy could ask for!

SCOTT MOREAU (Johnny Cash) is from Maine and received a BFA in Music Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is overjoyed to be back on tour with MDQ for a 4th year! Jacob Rowley


JACOB ROWLEY (Elvis Presley) is an actor, musician, singer and songwriter from Nederland, Texas. At just 19 years old, Jake was chosen for a role that he was born to play, that of a young Elvis Presley in the national tour of Million Dollar Quartet. Jake exudes the same raw passion and energy in every performance that drove Elvis himself to the top. The press has even nicknamed Jake "the new Teen King."

Bryan Langlitz


BRYAN LANGLITZ (Sam Phillips). Bryan is thrilled to be joining the MDQ family. Favorite credits include the Broadway cast of Memphis and The Comedy of Errors at The Public Theatre’s famed Delacorte Theatre. You can catch Bryan on Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black,” and “House of Cards,” as well as NBC’s “SMASH,” and “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.” Training: BFA from The University of Michigan. LAURA OBENAUF (Dyanne). Born and raised in Ohio and schooled at the University of Illinois, Laura is thrilled to join the MDQ National Tour after spending the past year with the Chicago company - yes, it is as fun as it looks. Love and gratitude to her family for their constant love and support!

Patrick Morrow


PATRICK MORROW (Fluke, Drummer). Patrick is thrilled to be back for a second year with MDQ! Patrick has drummed for Wanda Jackson, Dale Hawkins, Joe Clay, The Bellfuries, Eddie Clendening, Big Sandy, Milwaukee Repertory Theater and toured with Little House on the Prairie: The Musical starring TV’s Melissa Gilbert.

Chuck Zayas


CHUCK ZAYAS (Jay Perkins, Bass player) has been performing for more than twenty years as a bassist, singer, songwriter, session player, band leader and producer. He plays bass and is lead vocalist of his band The Midnight Ramblers, and is also a founding member of the band Rocket 88. He’s an original member of the Chicago cast.

ALYSON BLOOM (u/s Dyanne) is thrilled to be joining the MDQ family! Before this, Alyson was seen as Regina (original cast) in Rock of Ages Vegas. Other credits include: Off-Broadway: Fancy Nancy. James Scheider


JAMES SCHEIDER (u/s Jerry Lee Lewis) made his Broadway debut understudying Tony winner Levi Kreis in the original Broadway cast of MDQ. He originated the role at Village Theatre’s Festival of New Musicals. Regional credits include: The Cotton Patch Gospel, Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revivial, Jesus Christ Superstar, 42nd Street, Aida, The Who’s Tommy, White Christmas, Hello Dolly!, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, and Mame! Skye Scott


SKYE SCOTT (u/s Elvis Presley) is so excited to be touring with Million Dollar Quartet! Tour: Jersey Boys, Miss Saigon. Off-Broadway: he was seen starring in : Love In The Time of Chanukah at Ars Nova; playing the Giant in The Selfish Giant for Firebone Theater Co.; he also had a stint as the funny-man host of The Ride. Regionally he has performed at: The Pittsburgh CLO, the Marriott Lincolnshire Theater, West Virginia Public Theater, the Wagon Wheel Theater, and at the Eugene O'Neill National Theater Conference. Film: Summer Nuts, American Teen. Graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

David Sonneborn


DAVID SONNEBORN (u/s Fluke, Jay Perkins ). Cincinnati native, longtime NYC musician, and a fourth year veteran of the MDQ National Tour. David currently plays drums or bass in “Western Caravan”, “The San AnTones”, “Gunsmoke”, “The Mary Lamount Band”, and "Teri Joyce and the Tag-alongs”. NYMF; God’s Country. Toured nationally in Always, Patsy Cline. Love to Becky.

Bradley Waters


H. BRADLEY WATERS (u/s Carl Perkins). Brad is from a very small, saw mill town, called Deer in the hills of Arkansas. He is from a musical family whose roots were in Bluegrass and Country and eventually Rock-Billie and Rock n Roll. His speed and technique on the banjo earned him a state banjo championship at the Little Rock State Fair. Brad is a master of finger style guitar known as 'chicken picken' and has been playing since the age of 7. His abilities as a Fender Telecaster guitar player or "Tele Slinger'" as it is widely known earned him a place as lead guitarist and lead vocalist in the popular band Whistlin Dixie. Brad currently is combining his acting, guitar and vocal abilities to portray the role of Rock and Roll pioneer Carl Perkins in the National Road Tour of the hit Tony Award-winning musical Million Dollar Quartet.

ERIC SCHAEFFER (Director) is the artistic director/co-founder of Signature Theatre, Washington DC, recipient of the 2009 Regional Theatre Tony Award and home to the American Musical Voices Project, the largest musical commission program in the country. Broadway: Follies, Million Dollar Quartet, Putting It Together, Glory Days. West End: The Witches of Eastwick, Million Dollar Quartet. Kennedy Center Artistic Director: Sondheim Celebration, Sunday in the Park With George, Passion; Mame, Follies.


COLIN ESCOTT (Co-Author). Born in England, Colin Escott lives near Nashville, Tennessee. He is the author of Good Rockin' Tonight: Sun Records and the Birth of Rock 'n' Roll, the first in-depth account of the Sun Records story. His book Hank Williams--The Biography has been adapted into the movie I Saw the Light, starring Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen. His multi-CD box set, The Complete Hank Williams, won a Grammy, and another of his productions, B.B. King--King of the Blues, was nominated for a Grammy.


FLOYD MUTRUX (Co-Author, original concept and direction) worked Second City, Chicago; NY attended Columbia University; in LA, conceived, wrote, directed or produced 50 films: American Hot Wax (Best Picture, Director), Scarecrow (Best Picture), Urban Cowboy, Untouchables, Up in Smoke, Dick Tracy, with his wife Birgitte, preparing new film Moon Over Memphis (a rock ‘n’ roll Field of Dreams).


DEREK McLANE (Scenic Design). Broadway designs include Beautiful, The Heiress, Nice Work, The Best Man, Follies, Anything Goes, How to Succeed, Bengal Tiger, Million Dollar Quartet, Ragtime, 33 Variations, The Pajama Game, I Am My Own Wife. Off-Broadway: The Last Five Years, Ruined, Lie of the Mind, Hurlyburly. He designed the 2013 and 2014 Academy Awards, AWARDS: Winner of 1997 and 2004 OBIE Awards, 2004, 2005, 2007 Lucille Lortel Awards; 2009 Tony Award, 2011 Drama Desk Award, 2014 Emmy Award.


HOWELL BINKLEY (Lighting Design). B’way works include: After Midnight, Jesus Christ Superstar, How To Succeed… starring Daniel Radcliffe (2011 Tony nomination), Memphis, West Side Story (2009 Tony nomination), Gypsy with Patti LuPone, In The Heights (2008 Tony nomination), Jersey Boys, Avenue Q, The Full Monty, Parade, How To Succeed... starring Matthew Broderick and Kiss of The Spider Woman. Proud co-founder of and lighting designer for Parsons Dance. 1993 Olivier Award and Canadian Dora Award for Kiss of The Spider Woman. 2006 Tony Award, Henry Hewes Design Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Jersey Boys.


JANE GREENWOOD (Costume Design). Over 100 Broadway / off-Broadway credits. Metropolitan Opera, Film and Dance. Awards: Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement award, Theatre Hall of Fame, 15 Tony nominations, Lucille Lortel Award, Helen Hayes Award. Professor Yale School of Drama. Currently represented with All’s Well That Ends Well, Shakespeare in the Park.


KAI HARADA (Sound Designer). Designs include Little Dancer (Kennedy Center): On the Town (Broadway); Follies (Drama Desk & Tony Award nominations); Fun Home (Drama Desk nomination); First Date (Broadway); Million Dollar Quartet; Zorro (Moscow, Atlanta); Hinterm Horizont (Berlin); Pirates of Penzance (Portland Opera); She Loves Me (Oregon Shakespeare Festival); First You Dream (Kennedy Center); Rent (5th Avenue Theatre); and Barbie Live! CHUCK MEAD (Musical Arrangements and Supervision). Singer/Songwriter/Producer Chuck came to prominence as co-founder and front man of the three-time Grammy-nominated and CMA Award-winning country band BR-549. Since then, he has released three critically acclaimed solo records and continues to tour the world. Chuck first crafted the music arrangements for MDQ during the original Daytona and Seattle workshop productions, supervised the musical performances for its 2008 Chicago opening, and created new music material for the show’s Broadway, West End and Las Vegas productions.


TOM WATSON (Hair and Wig Design) is head of the wig and makeup department at the Metropolitan Opera and has designed wigs for more than 50 Broadway productions, including The Addams Family, How to Succeed…, and Wicked.


B.J. FORMAN (Production Stage Manager). Broadway: Avenue Q, 42nd Street. Off-Broadway: Soul Doctor, Jewtopia, Confessions of a Mormon Boy, The Musical of Musicals, Pirates of Penzance, The Rink. JUNIPER STREET PRODUCTIONS (Production Manager) is Hillary Blanken, Ana Rose Greene, Guy Kwan and Joseph DeLuise. JSP has helped create over 50 Broadway productions, over 20 national tours, and numerous Las Vegas productions. Recent shows include: Side Show, On The Town, Disgraced, Here Lies Love, Beautiful, I’ll Eat You Last, Macbeth, Spider-Man, Follies, How to Succeed…, Promises Promises, Memphis, Gypsy, 33 Variations, Bette Midler at Caesar’s Palace, Company, Grey Gardens, The Producers and Fosse.


TYPE A MARKETING (Marketing & Press) is an independent, full-service marketing company specializing in Broadway and national tours. RELEVANT THEATRICALS (Producer), headed by Gigi Pritzker and Ted Rawlins, develops and produces new work for the stage. Current projects include: Snapshots, a new musical with book by David Stern and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz; The Great Gatsby, on course to open in London next year; and a new musical version of Dennis The Menace.


JOHN COSSETTE PRODUCTIONS (Producer) was founded by John Cossette whose 30 year career in the music industry as an innovative producer of large scale events was legendary. John produced the Grammy’s, the BET awards, the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and a star studded concert in Central Park. He was deeply involved with MusiCares and the EJ Jackson Foundation which helps to feed the homeless in Los Angeles. Under the direction of Rita Cossette the company will continue to develop and produce music related entertainment.


AMERICAN POP ANTHOLOGY (Producers: Floyd & Birgitte Mutrux). An anthology series of Rock n’ Roll Bios about the people ‘who made the music that changed the culture of our country’. Floyd, along with Colin Escott and Birgitte (choreographer MDQ in Florida), have worked together on the Tony nominated Baby It’s You, workshopping Lonesome Town (with John Kaye) and Boy From NYC.


BROADWAY ACROSS AMERICA is part of the Key Brand Entertainment family of companies, which includes, under the supervision of John Gore (Owner & CEO).
